Job summary

Panasonic Energy is expanding its De Soto, Kansas facility and seeking a Manufacturing Engineer III to lead mid-scale projects and drive process improvements in a high-volume lithium-ion battery environment. You will develop standards, mentor engineers, and collaborate across functions to boost safety, quality and throughput.

The role emphasizes hands-on technical leadership, cross-functional teamwork, and a focus on scalable manufacturing excellence in a state-of-the-art facility near Kansas

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering or related STEM field required.
• 4+ years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Strong cross-functional communication and problem-solving skills expected.

Responsibilities

• Lead medium-sized manufacturing projects with scope and timelines.
• Develop and validate manufacturing standards and technical documentation.
• Apply SPC, FMEA and other quality tools to reduce risk and improve process capability.
• Mentor junior engineers and share technical knowledge across teams.
• Collaborate with Production, Maintenance, Quality and Controls to drive improvements.
