Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of mechanical background in industrial machining.
• Job shop machining experience and fabricating parts.
• Ability to read drawings and blueprints.
• Proficiency using dial indicators, micrometers, calipers.
• Ability to determine tooling and setup for different jobs.

Responsibilities

• Operate mills, lathes, boring mills and VTLs to repair equipment.
• Determine machining process and select tooling for jobs.
• Set up and indicator-workpieces to tolerances.
• Machine internal and external threads.
• Read hydraulic schematics and fabrication blueprints.
• Fabricate components from raw materials.
• Disassemble hydraulic/pneumatic components as needed.
• Assist with shop floor improvements.
• Willingness to get dirty and learn.
