Job summary

Kenco Hydraulics in Hatfield, PA, is seeking a Manual Machinist to join our service team. This role focuses on manual machining and hydraulic cylinder repair—no CNC production work. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with lathes, mills, drill presses, and welding (MIG/TIG).

You will read blueprints, repair or refurbish components, and maintain strict safety and quality standards. This on-site position offers overtime opportunities, a performance-based bonus, and benefits including

Qualifications

• Experience with manual machining on lathes and mills; no CNC.
• Welding and fabrication experience (MIG/TIG preferred).
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Hydraulic cylinder repair experience is a strong plus.
• Must be able to work independently and manage workflow.
• Basic computer skills for job tracking.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual machining operations using lathes, mills, and drill presses.
• Repair, rebuild, and refurbish hydraulic cylinders and components.
• Read and interpret blueprints and drawings.
• Weld and fabricate as needed (MIG/TIG).
• Inspect parts and finished work for quality and function.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Follow safety policies and procedures.
• Communicate with team and supervisors.
• Occasional overtime to meet customer demands.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
