Job summary

The Vertex Companies is seeking a Manager, Schedule Delay Claims to lead engagements and deliver expert delay analysis for clients in construction projects. You will guide project teams, identify delay causes, quantify impacts, and support dispute resolution with technical reports and expert testimony.

You will also drive business development, mentor consultants, and collaborate with leadership on service offerings.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of related experience, or Master's with 3+ years, or 8+ years with no degree and 3+ years supervisory.
Strategic thinking and problem-solving in high-stakes environments.
Strong leadership and team development capabilities.
Excellent client relationship management and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Lead business development efforts in delay analysis, claims, and dispute resolution.
Develop and maintain relationships with law firms, owners, contractors, and insurers.
Mentor and develop junior and mid-level consultants.
Provide strategic direction on complex engagements, including expert witness preparation and testimony.
Oversee the execution of multiple delay analyses from inception to resolution.
Direct preparation of analyses using methodologies such as TIA, Windows Analysis, and As-Planned vs. As-Built.
Review and validate project schedules, baseline programs, and updates.
