Job summary

Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, WA seeks a Lead Mammography Technologist to oversee daily workflow, QA, and staff development. You will act as a clinical resource for staff, radiologists, and leadership, ensuring high standards of care and efficient imaging operations.

The role requires ARRT Mammography certification or equivalent experience with leadership, and a 100% FTE daytime schedule. This is a full-time facility-based position within UW Medicine.

Qualifications

• ARRT registration and one year of experience in the applicable modality, or minimum of 6 months with leadership experience.
• Equivalent education and/or experience may substitute for minimum qualifications where allowed.

Responsibilities

• Independently operate all mammography equipment and follow imaging techniques.
• Schedule, begin, complete, and cancel exams in the RIS.
• Review orders for accuracy and choose appropriate exams based on symptoms.
• Regularly assign, instruct, and monitor mammography staff.
• Serve as primary clinical resource for workflow, image quality, and equipment questions.
• Coordinate daily scheduling and workflow for efficiency.
