Job summary

Northfield Hospital + Clinics is seeking a Lead Mammography Technologist to deliver high-quality mammography and bone density imaging while mentoring staff and upholding safety and regulatory standards in partnership with the Diagnostic Imaging Director. This role includes supervision of daily workflow and ensuring a patient-centered care environment.

Qualifications

• ARRT(R)(M) registration in Radiology and Mammography with 2+ years of experience.
• Enrollment in NH&C RQI program for BLS completion within 90 days of enrollment.
• Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) training.
• Workplace Violence education in new employee orientation and annually thereafter.
• Proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing English for healthcare communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent patient care and lead staff with effective use of time and resources.
• Orient, mentor, and ensure competency of staff; coordinate with Radiology Supervisor on performance issues.
• Collaborate on safety, quality assurance, and equipment maintenance per regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to staff hiring, performance reviews, and daily work supervision.
• Support continuity of care and promote staff development and engagement.
