Job summary

Solis Mammography is seeking a Lead Mammography Technologist to oversee daily clinical operations at our Conroe center. You will perform mammography and assist biopsies, monitor staffing, and uphold MQSA compliance while delivering outstanding patient care.

Lead technologists coordinate with the center director, maintain equipment and supplies, and support a collaborative, patient-first environment focused on high-quality breast health services.

Qualifications

• Completion of formal radiologic technologic technology training program.
• ARRT Mammography certification is required or current.
• State radiology registration as required by state law.
• CPR/BLS certification must be current.

Responsibilities

• Provide mammography services and assist with biopsies as needed.
• Monitor and support staffing levels at the center.
• Maintain excellent patient care and educate patients when appropriate.
• Ensure MQSA compliance and assist center director with credential tracking.
• Assist in maintaining supply levels and equipment uptime as needed.
• Act as primary contact for physician offices and respond within 24 hours.

Work Location: 500 Medical Center Blvd, Suite 175, Conroe, TX 77304

Work Hours: Monday-Friday shift varies between 6:30am-5:00pm (Occasional Saturdays required)

The Lead technologist is responsible for the daily clinical operations of their assigned centers. This position is critical to Solis Mammography; by providing outstanding care and efficient results, the Lead technologist impacts the profitability of the organization as well as the patient experience.

Here is what you will need:

• Education:Completion of formal radiologic technologic technology training program.
• Experience:Minimum of two years of healthcare industry experience with ultrasound core and stereotactic biopsies preferred;Minimum of two years of supervisory experience preferred.
• Licensure:Valid state radiology registration as required by state law
• Certification:Current ARRT advanced level certification in Mammography
  • Current CPR/BLS Certification

• Completion of formal radiologic technologic technology training program;
• Understands and communicates medical terminology;

A Day in the Life of a LeadMammographer:

Provide services and support for the following areas:

• Understands, promotes and demonstrates the "Solis Way"
• Performs mammography and/or assists with biopsies on an as-needed basis
• Monitors clinical staffing levels.
• Provides excellent patient care, communicates procedures and provides education on an as-needed basis to new and existing clinical team members
• Effectively handles patient complaints as, evidenced by patient survey scores and escalates as necessary;
• Assists center director in MQSA compliance as it relates to tracking, following up, and credentials;
• Ensures compliance with all Policies and Procedures;
• Ensures supplies are available as needed to meet patient demands;
• Coordinates service and maintenance of equipment to ensure minimal downtime, as requested by the center director
• Acts as a point of contact for physician offices requiring clinical information and responds to requests within 24 hours;
• Maintains confidentiality of patient and team member information 100% of the time.
