As a Lead Maintenance Technician, you will play an important role at GHP by creating a quality living environment through property maintenance. You will contribute significantly to the community's aesthetics and reputation.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, a practical mindset, and an outgoing personality.

REPORTS TO: Service Manager

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE:
Customer Service:
  • Create a community feel and excellent living experience for residents
  • Greet guests and residents warmly
  • Assist residents with tasks like holding doors, picking up dropped items, giving directions, and aiding disabled persons
  • Exemplify service excellence aligning with company values and policies
Maintenance:
  • Perform daily repairs and upkeep
  • Prepare vacant units for new residents
  • Manage supplies and equipment, maintain cleanliness
  • Follow safety policies including OSHA standards
  • Complete repairs thoroughly and timely as per instructions
  • Handle basic plumbing, electrical, appliance repairs, painting, and carpentry tasks
  • Serve as Senior Maintenance Technician, mentoring others and handling complex tasks
Qualifications:
  • Desire to deliver exceptional resident and colleague experiences
  • Personable, positive, team-oriented attitude
  • 2-5 years experience in property management or hospitality as a technician or similar role
  • HVAC certification is a plus
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to understand instructions and multitask effectively
  • May require driving a golf cart
Physical Requirements:
  • Regular attendance required
  • Work indoors and outdoors, exposed to natural elements
  • Work in various noise levels, ascend/descend stairs, and perform physical tasks like lifting up to 50 lbs
  • Communicate effectively with residents, vendors, and coworkers

Note: Duties are not exhaustive and additional tasks may be assigned.

Salary Range: $25.00-$28.00 per hour, D.O.E.
