Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of five years of facilities maintenance, construction, building operations, or related experience preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in skilled maintenance across multiple trades.
• Prior lead, supervisory, or project coordination experience strongly preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Relevant trade licenses, certifications, or specialized technical training strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform skilled preventive and corrective maintenance throughout school buildings and grounds.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain building systems and equipment, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lighting, doors, windows, roofing, and related systems.
• Perform carpentry, painting, drywall, hardware, flooring, and other general building repairs.
• Conduct minor renovation and construction work that does not require a licensed tradesperson.
• Perform routine inspections of buildings, grounds, equipment, and building systems to identify maintenance and safety needs.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance situations and take appropriate steps to protect students, staff, property, and building operations.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, maintenance equipment, and other machinery safely and professionally.
• Assist with snow and ice removal, landscaping, grounds maintenance, and other seasonal responsibilities.
• Support setup and breakdown for school activities and special events as needed.
