Job summary

The Agnes Irwin School seeks a capable maintenance technician to monitor, repair, and maintain campus equipment, buildings, and grounds. You will assist with setup/breakdown and handle work orders to keep facilities running smoothly.

Ideal candidates have intermediate skills in HVAC, plumbing, electrical or carpentry, with a minimum of four years’ experience, a valid driver's license, and required FBI, PA State, and Child Abuse clearances. Safety and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• This intermediate level position prefers experience in one or more trades (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry).
• Must have computer knowledge and familiarity with a computerized work order system is a plus.
• Possess a valid driver's license with a clear MVR check.
• Requires FBI, PA State, and Child Abuse clearances.
• Minimum four years of general maintenance experience.
• Ability to follow instructions and work safely with various tools and equipment.
• Ability to lift and carry items weighing 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair campus equipment, buildings and grounds.
• Set up and break down as needed.
• Process work orders via the school's system.
• Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and request materials as needed.
• Complete daily work orders and ensure they are closed out.
• Comply with OSHA and other safety regulations and company policies.
• Demonstrate initiative and the ability to work alone or in teams.
