Job summary

Two Coast Living is seeking a Lead Maintenance Technician for Manchester Lakes in Alexandria, VA. This hands-on, supervisory role oversees daily maintenance, makes rounds, and leads a maintenance team to keep facilities, grounds, and amenities in excellent condition.

The position requires 4+ years in property maintenance, 1+ year supervising staff, and strong HVAC/plumbing/electrical skills with OSHA safety training. Onsite schedule, with on-call rotation and strong resident service mindset.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of maintenance experience in property management or hospitality.
• 1+ year of supervision of two or more employees.
• HVAC, plumbing, electrical repair experience is required or preferred.
• EPA Certification Type I/II or Universal is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee routine, preventative, and emergency maintenance across the property.
• Manage apartment turnover and make-ready activities to ensure timely occupancy.
• Supervise and train maintenance staff, participating hands-on when needed.
• Coordinate with residents and management to minimize disruption during work.
• Maintain safety procedures and proper handling of chemicals per OSHA rules.
