Job summary

CalPortland is seeking a Maintenance Person III to perform mechanical maintenance, repair, and installation on plant buildings and machinery, including welding and cutting as needed. The role emphasizes safety, training, and leadership of a skilled crew.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints, diagnosing issues, and applying proper rigging methods, while adhering to all regulations. The position requires a high school diploma and physical capability for demanding tasks outdoors.

Qualifications

• Dexterity to perform all tasks and operate tools.
• Ability to read blueprints and do shop mathematics.
• Solid mechanical/control system skills and ability to train others.
• Experience with welding and cutting processes preferred.
• Must be able to work in outdoor environments and lifts >50 lbs.

Responsibilities
