Job summary

The Coca-Cola Company in Apopka, FL is seeking a Maintenance Technician to lead the shift’s maintenance activities, assign tasks, and drive preventive maintenance on production lines.

You will troubleshoot equipment, ensure GMP compliance, maintain logs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to maximize uptime. A strong background in hydraulics, electrical, PLCs, and safety is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• 5 years of manufacturing maintenance experience with a leadership role.
• 3 years of equipment reliability experience.
• Maintenance experience across hydraulics, controls, electrical, mechanical, welding, electrical, PLCs, and pneumatics.
• Ability to troubleshoot, read diagrams, blueprints and schematics.
• Must be able to use CMMS Maximo and related software.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance activities for the assigned shift and direct preventative maintenance tasks.
• Ensure adherence to preventive maintenance systems for all production equipment.
• Troubleshoot and correct equipment problems on production lines and batching/processing equipment.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and logs; follow GMPs and safety rules.
• Collaborate with cross-departmental teams to maximize production efficiency.
• Read and follow SOPs and Safety Data Sheets; train visitors as needed.
• Plan/schedule with storeroom staff for work orders, parts, and requisitions.
• Identify and assist in implementing projects as required.
