Job summary

BlueScope Coated Products seeks a Maintenance Team Lead to safely perform emergency and preventative repairs on plant machinery and infrastructure at our Cambridge, MA facility. You will lead maintenance activities, coordinate with production teams, and minimize downtime.

Ideal candidates have a strong electrical, mechanical, and PLC background, can work long shifts, and uphold safety standards including lock-out/tag-out.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Technical diploma or trade certification, or 5+ years as Industrial Mechanic/Electrician preferred.
• PLC and basic drives experience expected.
• Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge required.

Responsibilities

• Perform emergency and preventative repairs to plant machinery and infrastructure safely.
• Respond to production supervisor during emergencies to minimize downtime.
• Utilize Work Order system for entry and completion of tasks.
• Maintain clean maintenance areas and inventory, notify replenishment needs.
• Follow Lock-out/Tag-out procedures and ensure a safe work environment.
