Job summary

Artcraft Management is seeking an experienced Maintenance Lead Technician who is hands-on, organized, and committed to excellent service for our residents. You will lead daily maintenance operations, complete service requests, and coordinate apartment turns while keeping HVAC and building systems in top condition.

This role requires 3+ years of maintenance experience, strong leadership skills, and the ability to mentor the team.

Qualifications

3+ years of apartment or building maintenance experience.
Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, and general repairs.
EPA certification preferred.
Valid Virginia driver's license.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work both indoors and outdoors.

Responsibilities

Lead the day-to-day maintenance operations for the community.
Complete service requests and ensure excellent resident service.
Coordinate apartment turns to prepare homes for new residents.
Perform preventive maintenance to keep the property operating efficiently.
Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems, appliances, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and other building systems.
Supervise and mentor the maintenance team.
Maintain inventory and work with vendors when needed.
Help maintain beautiful grounds and common areas.
Participate in an on-call rotation for emergency maintenance.
