Job summary

Wells is seeking a Maintenance Team Lead to supervise daily maintenance across facility systems and rolling stock, blending hands-on work with strong leadership to keep operations safe and reliable.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on maintenance expertise, leadership ability, and a safety-first mindset, with a track record of improving processes and reducing downtime in an industrial setting.

Qualifications

• Hands-on maintenance experience with heavy equipment and facility systems.
• Ability to lead a team and coordinate maintenance activities.
• Strong safety mindset and compliance with procedures.
• Proactive mindset for process improvement and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee daily maintenance work for the team.
• Provide hands-on guidance to ensure productivity and quality.
• Coordinate schedules with the maintenance planner.
• Enter and manage work orders in the maintenance system.
• Respond to maintenance requests and ensure timely completion.
• Address employee concerns and resolve issues; escalate as needed.
• Verify documentation for parts requests and completed work orders.
• Perform repairs and maintenance on equipment including rolling stock and building systems.
• Conduct preventative maintenance on electrical, plumbing, HVAC, boilers.
