Job summary

Ajinomoto Foods North America, Inc. in California seeks an experienced maintenance supervisor to lead a team of technicians maintaining plant equipment and facilities.

You will troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and controls systems and perform scheduled maintenance to minimize downtime. The role requires strong leadership, knowledge of PLCs, high voltage work, welding/fabrication, and a commitment to safety in a food manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Technology, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2–4 years of proven work experience on electrical/electronic and mechanical systems.
• Experience in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment and strong safety mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead and organize a maintenance team to perform preventive and reactive maintenance.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and PLC controls.
• Supervise installation, startup, and relocation of equipment and machinery.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company procedures.
• Coordinate with supervisor/manager on planning, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
