Job summary

TRU Community Care in Lafayette, CO is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician II to keep our facilities safe, functional, and well-maintained. This lead role covers plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and more across multiple sites.

You will manage work orders, PMs, and safety communications with facility leadership, while mentoring junior technicians and supporting special events or emergencies as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years general maintenance experience.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair building, mechanical, and facility issues.
• Experience reading blueprints and schematics.
• Familiarity with CMMS; TELS preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs across multiple skill areas.
• Lead maintenance tasks and coordinate with facility leadership.
• Maintain maintenance logs and PM schedules.
• Utilize TELS CMMS to manage work orders and inspections.
• Support emergencies, events, and safety compliance as needed.
