Job summary

Central States Manufacturing, Inc. seeks a skilled Maintenance Electrician to perform diverse electrical and mechanical tasks in our Graniteville facility. The role supports plant leadership by applying technical knowledge to maintain continuous operations.

The candidate will install and maintain electrical systems, diagnose faults, weld, fabricate, and work with hydraulic/pneumatic systems. A minimum of six years' experience and a technical degree are preferred.

Qualifications

• Vocational or technical degree and minimum six years of relevant experience.
• Must read technical drawings, prints, and schematics (electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic).
• Experience with electrical circuits 480 V and PLCs preferred.
• Good knowledge of measurement instruments and basic calculations.
• Welding and fabrication experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical installations and maintenance on plant systems to furnish uninterrupted power and lighting.
• Repair electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical equipment throughout the facility.
• Diagnose and repair electrical faults and replace components as needed.
• Coordinate operation of download systems from computer networks to machine controllers.
• Enter equipment data and notes into the maintenance management system.
• Maintain tools and supply own tools as required.
• Weld and fabricate metal parts using various welding methods.
• Maintain good housekeeping and be on call as needed.
• Be able to work on weekends or other shifts as assigned.
