Job summary

Capstone Logistics is seeking a Maintenance Technician Lead in Avenel, NJ, for 5am-1:30pm Tue-Sat. Pay is $33-38 per hour.

You will maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and install equipment and building systems, including conveyors, automation and electrical systems, to ensure safe operations. Ideal candidates have an associate degree in maintenance or equivalent, 1–2 years of maintenance experience, and ability to read work orders, use hand and power tools, and work with teams.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent and 1–2 years of maintenance experience.
• Ability to troubleshoot AC/DC electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Experience with conveyors and automated equipment is a plus.
• Strong safety and procedural compliance mindset.
• Proficient with basic MS Office and record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and installation of equipment and facility systems.
• Respond to maintenance requests and incidents; document actions taken.
• Inspect motors, drives, sensors, and conveyors for proper operation.
• Collaborate with other departments to minimize downtime.
• Read work orders and follow specifications to repair or modify machinery.
