Position:Lead Maintenance Technician ( CNC Experience Required )

Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician to install, maintain, and repair machinery, equipment, physical structures, and pipe and electrical systems (including CNC Controls). The ideal candidate will possess strong technical troubleshooting abilities, experience with electronic equipment, and the capacity to work independently while maintaining safety standards. This position requires hands-on expertise to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimize production downtime.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair CNC controls and highly technical electronic equipment, read and understand electronic schematics, use diagnostic equipment, and communicate with manufacturer service technicians
  • Equipment Maintenance: Repair and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment such as engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production equipment according to specifications and manuals
  • Problem Identification: Observe mechanical devices in operation to locate sources of trouble, dismantle devices to access and remove defective parts using appropriate tools
  • Mechanical Repairs: Adjust functional parts, replace defective components, install special functional and structural parts, and clean/lubricate equipment as needed
  • Parts Management: Initiate purchase orders for required parts and equipment to maintain inventory
  • Safety Compliance: Follow all OSHA regulations including confined spaces, LOTO, PPE, and other safety protocols
  • Scheduling Flexibility: Work all shifts (including weekends) and be available on-call for plant emergencies
  • Professional Conduct: Set high ethical standards and demonstrate professional behavior at all times


Qualifications:

  • High school diploma/GED with minimum two years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as machine drawings, electronic schematics, safety rules, and maintenance instructions
  • Demonstrated ability to diagnose issues with HMI, Drives and power supplies
  • Strong mathematical proficiency as it relates to maintenance and repair work
  • Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with production floor associates and management
  • Working knowledge of Word Processing and Spreadsheet software
  • Self-motivated with ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in group settings
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Experience with preventative maintenance programs preferred


Compensation & Benefits:

  • Hourly: 25 - 35/hr w/ further upside potential
