Summary: Whitehorse Apartment has a great opportunity for a Lead Maintenance Technician to undertake the responsibility of preserving the good condition and functionality of our 210-unit residential apartment community. You will perform maintenance tasks of great variety such as painting, HVAC installations, landscaping, etc.

Responsibilities:

1. Monitor, schedule, and inspect work being performed by the maintenance staff.
2. Maintain a clean, organized shop and inventory.
3. Obtain bids on special projects.
4. Work with the property manager to maintain the supply budget.
5. Perform general maintenance including electrical, HVAC, & plumbing.
6. Assist in setting up systems like ventilation, refrigeration, and conduct repairs.
7. Perform manual repairs (fix locks, replace windows, etc.).
8. Conduct appliance repair & troubleshooting.
9. Perform general upkeep procedures.
10. On-call responsibilities as assigned by property manager.

Skills:

• Must have 2-5 years of experience as a maintenance technician.
• Strong leadership skills.
• Strong working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, & HVAC.
• Working knowledge of tools, appliances, and devices.
• Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills.
• Good physical condition and strength.
• HVAC Certification #OKIND.
