We are seeking a skilled Lead Maintenance Technician for our independent community for people over 55. The successful candidate will ensure proper maintenance and functionality of our community facilities.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform maintenance and repairs, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, etc.
2. Lead and train maintenance technicians.
3. Prioritize and delegate daily work orders.
4. Ensure timely unit turns and emergency responses.
5. Report to the Property Manager.

Qualifications:

• MUST BE HVAC CERTIFIED
• Experience: 3–5 years of hands-on maintenance experience in residential or commercial settings.
• Prior experience in apartment maintenance is highly preferred.
• Experience supervising or mentoring maintenance staff is a plus.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in HVAC systems (EPA certification), plumbing, electrical repair, appliance repair, carpentry, drywall, painting, and unit turns.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve maintenance issues independently.
