Job summary

Tipton Asset Group, Inc. seeks a Lead Maintenance Technician for a 104-unit property in Tyler, TX. You will oversee daily maintenance operations, keep the community looking inviting, and respond to emergencies on a 24-hour on-call basis.

The role covers grounds work, basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry and painting tasks, and requires use of your own tools. A strong customer-focused approach with residents and staff is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Must have multifamily experience and HVAC certified.
• Provide/use of own tools.
• Must be able to maintain a professional and courteous manner with residents, visitors and maintenance staff.
• Possess basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the overall maintenance and appearance of the apartment complex for current and prospective residents.

The Job:

Our maintenance professionals are an integral part of keeping our residents satisfied and are responsible for day-to-day maintenance operations and general upkeep of the community. Specific responsibilities include:

• Being on-call for 24-hour maintenance emergencies
• Completing grounds work such as: trash pick-up and light landscaping
• Assisting with various types of maintenance: Electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting and preventative.
