Job Overview:

As a Maintenance Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of our hotel facilities. Your primary responsibility is to perform a variety of maintenance tasks, including preventative maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting, to maintain a safe, comfortable, and aesthetically pleasing environment for our guests and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Preventative Maintenance:
   • Conduct regular inspections of all hotel facilities, including guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas.
   • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as plumbing repairs, electrical work, carpentry, painting, and HVAC system maintenance.
   • Implement a preventative maintenance schedule to minimize breakdowns and equipment failures.
2. Repair and Troubleshooting:
   • Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff.
   • Diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions, including HVAC systems, plumbing fixtures, electrical components, and other mechanical systems.
   • Troubleshoot issues with building systems and identify potential problems before they escalate.
3. Safety and Compliance:
   • Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines, including OSHA standards.
   • Conduct regular safety inspections and address any hazards promptly.
   • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
4. Guest Satisfaction:
   • Interact with guests in a professional and courteous manner.
   • Resolve guest complaints and concerns related to maintenance issues in a timely and effective manner.
   • Contribute to a positive guest experience by ensuring a well-maintained and comfortable environment.

Qualifications and Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Relevant trade certifications or licenses (e.g., HVAC, plumbing, electrical) preferred.
