Summary:

The Service Technician II performs maintenance, service, and repair of commercial cooking equipment and refrigeration systems such as grills, fryers, ovens, ice machines, reach-in and walk-in coolers, freezers, etc.

Responsibilities include:

• Diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing commercial kitchen equipment and refrigeration systems.
• Providing status updates on parts and repairs to support staff and customers.
• Completing service calls accurately and promptly.
• Auditing truck stock to ensure required parts are available.
• Maintaining service vehicle, tools, and uniforms according to safety standards.
• Participating in on-call duties as required.

Required Education & Experience:

• Minimum of three years' experience in commercial kitchen repair and refrigeration.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Successful completion of background check and drug screening.
• Valid driver's license with a safe driving record.

Skills and Abilities:

• Ability to work independently.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills; automotive, electrical, installation, and mechanical knowledge is a plus.
• Journeyman License and/or CFESA certification are advantageous but not required.
• Attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good driving record.
