Job summary

National Property Management Associates, Inc. seeks an experienced Lead Maintenance Technician for our 240-unit residential community in Little Rock, AR.

You will oversee maintenance staff, perform electrical, HVAC, and plumbing work, and manage inventory to preserve property condition and functionality. The role requires leadership and hands-on skills, with on-site responsibilities and a housing benefit offering a 100% rent discount for onsite living.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of maintenance technician experience
• Leadership skills required
• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC
• Knowledge of tools, appliances and devices
• Good physical condition and strength
• HVAC and EPA certifications preferred

Responsibilities

• Monitor, schedule, and inspect maintenance staff work
• Maintain organized shop and inventory
• Obtain bids on special projects
• Coordinate with property manager to manage supply budget
• Perform general maintenance (electrical, HVAC, plumbing)
• Assist in setup of ventilation, refrigeration, and other systems; conduct repairs
• Perform manual repairs (locks, windows) as needed
• Repair appliances and troubleshoot issues
• Carry out general upkeep procedures
• On-call duties as assigned by property manager

Lead Maintenance Tech

Reports to: Property Manager

Location: Little Rock, TX

Units: 240

Salary: $26.00 per hour (Subject to adjustment for onsite living)

Napa Valley, located in Little Rock, AR has a great opportunity for an experienced Lead Maintenance Technician to undertake the responsibility of preserving the good condition and functionality of our 240-unit residential apartment community. You will perform maintenance tasks of great variety such as painting, HVAC installations, landscaping etc.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor, schedule, and inspect work being performed by the maintenance staff
• Maintain a clean organized shop and maintain inventory
• Obtain bids on special projects
• Work with the property manager to maintain the supply budget.
• Perform maintenance of general maintenance including the areas of; electrical, HVAC, & Plumbing
• Assist in the setup of ventilation, refrigeration and other systems and conduct repairs
• Perform manual repairs when necessary (fix locks, replace windows etc.)
• Appliance repair & troubleshooting
• Conduct general upkeep procedures
• On call responsibilities as assigned by property manager

Skills:

• Must have 2-5 years of experience as a maintenance technician
• Strong leadership skills
• Strong working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, & HVAC.
• Working knowledge of tools, common appliances, and devices
• Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills
• Good physical condition and strength
• HVAC & EPA Certifications PREFERRABLE
