Job summary

Heather Glen Townhomes in Arlington, TX, is seeking a service-minded maintenance technician to uphold the condition and functionality of a 260-unit community. You will prepare units for occupancy, handle make-ready work, and perform maintenance across electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and general systems.

On-call duties and daily paperwork are part of the role. Salary is $25.00 per hour with a 50% rent discount for onsite living, plus a benefits package including health/dental/vision insurance and

Qualifications

• Experience as a maintenance technician with residential property knowledge.
• Strong electrical, plumbing and HVAC know-how.
• General maintenance duties and use of common tools.

Responsibilities

• Prepare units for occupancy and perform make-ready work.
• Complete work orders and general maintenance tasks.
• Maintain electrical, HVAC and plumbing systems.
• Perform repairs (locks, windows) and upkeep (landscaping, painting, carpentry).
• Handle daily paperwork and on-call duties as assigned.

Maintenance Technician

Reports to: Property Manager & Lead Maintenance

Location: Arlington, TX

Units: 272

Salary: $25.00 per hour (Subject to adjustment for onsite living)

Heather Glen Townhomes, located in Arlington, TX is looking for a service minded maintenance professional to undertake the responsibility of upgrading & preserving the good condition and functionality of our 260 unit residential apartment community.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare units for occupancy.
• Complete make ready work and general work orders
• Perform maintenance of general maintenance including the areas of; electrical, HVAC, & Plumbing
• Perform manual repairs when necessary (fix locks, replace windows etc.)
• Conduct general upkeep procedures (e.g., landscaping) and other tasks as assigned (painting, carpentry etc.) and pool maintenance
• Complete daily paperwork
• On call responsibilities as assigned by property manager

Skills:

• Proven experience as maintenance technician
• Strong working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, & HVAC.
• General knowledge of maintenance duties
• Working knowledge of tools, common appliances, and devices
• Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills
