Job summary

Dairy Farmers of America, Inc. in High Point, NC seeks a Maintenance Lead to guide daily maintenance activities, mentor staff, and ensure equipment uptime on production, processing, and packaging lines.

You will perform electrical and mechanical repairs, weld/fabricate as needed, and support MRO purchasing while maintaining safety and regulatory compliance. The role requires strong leadership, adherence to GMPs, and experience with PLC/HMI and ammonia refrigeration systems.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred in electrical/mechanical trades.
• 4 years maintenance/leadership in manufacturing; strong problem solving.
• Experience with PLC/controls, refrigeration, and related equipment beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily maintenance tasks and coordinate with supervisor.
• Train, mentor, and develop maintenance staff for safety and efficiency.
• Perform planned/unplanned maintenance on production lines and utilities.
• Assist with MRO purchasing and parts planning to minimize downtime.
• Install, repair, and troubleshoot mechanical/electrical systems; document work.
