Elevation Property Management is hiring a Lead Maintenance Technician.

Position Details

• Title: Lead Maintenance Technician
• Level: Staff
• Location: Property
• Reports to: Property Manager/Maintenance Supervisor
• Status: Hourly, Non-Exempt

Position Summary

The Lead Maintenance Technician will oversee all aspects of hands-on maintenance, including inspection, repair work orders, and scheduled maintenance of apartments and other areas. The role requires technical skills, professionalism, flexibility, and the ability to work independently or in a team.

Key Responsibilities

• Train and motivate staff, maintain a positive attitude.
• Complete work orders, diagnose issues, and perform repairs (electrical, carpentry, HVAC, plumbing, drywall, painting, flooring).
• Prepare vacant units for leasing, including inspections and repairs.
• Manage inventory, document work, and maintain supplies.
• Assist in groundskeeping and general cleaning.
• Support cost-saving initiatives and safety policies.
• Provide excellent customer service, respond to resident requests, and handle complaints.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance.
• Complete required training courses.
• Be available for emergency calls during evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in property maintenance.
• Experience in multi-family, senior living, or high-rise environments is a plus.
• EPA and HVAC certifications required.
• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, appliances.
• Strong interpersonal skills, ethics, and integrity.
• High school diploma or equivalent; reliable transportation.
• Ability to read, write, communicate effectively.
