Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable, experienced, and hands-on Lead Maintenance Technician to oversee and support the day-to-day maintenance operations for Core 3. Our mission is to simplify the real estate experience by delivering comprehensive property management and maintenance solutions. This leadership role is essential in ensuring our properties are safe, functional, and consistently maintained to our high standards.
This position reports directly to the Maintenance Supervisor and serves as a key support in coordinating team efforts, upholding quality standards, and promoting efficient operations.

Responsibilities:
Team Leadership & Oversight:
· Assist in managing day-to-day workflow of maintenance team
· Provide guidance and training to Maintenance Technicians and ensure work is completed to standard
· Serve as point of contact for escalated maintenance concerns
· Support the Maintenance Supervisor with team coordination and quality control
Maintenance Operations:
· Complete and oversee assigned work orders generated from tenant or property manager requests
· Perform and direct minor and routine maintenance, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry
· Prioritize and delegate tasks to ensure timely completion of make-ready repairs and ongoing work
Communication & Customer Service:
· Communicate with tenants and staff professionally regarding maintenance work and scheduling
· Coordinate with vendors and contractors when needed for specialized repairs
· Follow up on open work orders to ensure tenant satisfaction and resolution
Documentation & Technology:
· Complete and review daily maintenance documentation on company-provided devices
· Monitor inventory and supplies, and request materials as needed
On-Call Responsibilities:
· Participate in and help coordinate the after-hours call rotation
Qualifications & Skills
Required:
· Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician
· Strong background in general maintenance tasks, including HVAC, appliance repair, plumbing, and electrical
· Leadership experience or demonstrated ability to manage and mentor a team
· Valid driver’s license (Required)
· Strong organizational and communication skills
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Preferred:
· HVAC certification or relevant trade license
· Experience in commercial or multi-family property maintenance
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00 – $26.00 per hour
