We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Lead Maintenance Technician to oversee and contribute to the day-to-day maintenance operations of a thriving property management company in the Bloomington area. This pivotal role involves not only executing maintenance tasks but also providing leadership, guidance, and support to the maintenance team, ensuring our properties are impeccably maintained, safe, and operating at peak efficiency. The Lead Maintenance Technician plays a key part in upholding our commitment to quality service and tenant satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance, training, and support.
• Prioritize, assign, and oversee the completion of all work orders, ensuring efficiency and quality.
• Perform and supervise complex and routine maintenance tasks across various property systems.
• Coordinate and schedule repairs with tenants, ensuring clear communication and timely completion.
• Review and approve daily paperwork, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation.
• Manage and conduct follow-up calls to ensure tenant satisfaction and resolve outstanding issues.
• Oversee inventory management of parts and supplies, ensuring availability for maintenance needs.
• Implement and uphold safety protocols and best practices within the maintenance team.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Strong expertise in appliance and/or HVAC systems is highly preferred.
• Extensive experience with various maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, and general repairs.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Availability for on-call rotation to address emergency maintenance needs.
• At least 18 years old and can provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
• Willing to submit to a pre-employment background check and/or drug screen.
