Job summary

CloudKitchens in the Atlanta area is seeking a hands-on HVAC/R & Facilities Technician to maintain commercial systems across multiple sites. You will perform preventative maintenance, diagnose issues, and coordinate with vendors, with travel between Greater Atlanta Area sites.

The role offers on-site work, overtime opportunities, and benefits, with 70% hands-on work and 10% inspections. 401(k), PTO, life insurance, mileage reimbursement and competitive pay of $25.00-$33.00/hr are included.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial HVAC/R experience.
• Experience with rooftop units, ventilation systems, or refrigeration (Walk-Ins).
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between sites locally.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on commercial HVAC/R systems (WIC/R, RTUs, exhaust fans, hoods, make-up air units, DOAS systems).
• Diagnose and troubleshoot system issues across multiple sites.
• Travel between multiple sites throughout the week across the Greater Atlanta Area.
• Coordinate with external vendors for specialized repairs and warranty work.
• Use Building Management Systems (BMS) to monitor performance and diagnose issues.

What you’ll do

HVAC/R & Facilities Maintenance

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on commercial HVAC/R systems(WIC/R, RTUs, exhaust fans, hoods, make-up air units, DOAS systems)
• Diagnose and troubleshoot system issues across multiple sites

Facility Operations Support

• Travel between multiple sites (number of sites vary by region) throughout the week across the Greater Atlanta Area
• Conduct site inspections to ensure equipment is operating safely and efficiently
• Handle basic electrical and plumbing maintenance as needed
• Coordinate with external vendors for specialized repairs and warranty work

System Performance & Troubleshooting

• Use Building Management Systems (BMS) to monitor performance and diagnose issues
• Provide remote troubleshooting support to onsite teams and vendors
• Review reports (startup, testing, balancing) to verify system performance

New Site Support

• Assist with new facility openings by verifying installation and system functionality
• Identify issues early and coordinate corrective actions

What your week looks like

• 70% hands-on HVAC/R maintenance & repair
• 10% inspections, reporting, and system verification

What we’re looking for

Required

• 5+ years of commercial HVAC/R experience
• Experience working with rooftop units, ventilation systems, or refrigeration(Walk-Ins)
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between sites locally

Preferred

• HVAC Universal certification (EPA, trade school, or equivalent)
• Experience in restaurants, hospitality, or multi-site facilities
• Working knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems
• Field-based role across the Greater Atlanta Area
• Local travel between sites (home daily)
• Monday–Friday schedule with on-call rotation and overtime opportunities
