Title: Lead Maintenance Technician

Description:

Fairfield Inn & Suites Atlanta Vinings/Galleria is currently seeking a Lead Maintenance Technician to join our team! This role is ideal for individuals with technical skills who are curious about how things work and enjoy keeping them functioning properly. Please note: This position is set at an entry-level Supervisor level and is not a Chief Engineer role.

What you will be doing:

• Maintain the interior and exterior of the hotel, including guest rooms, public restrooms, fixtures, vending areas, storage areas, and other designated items.
• Respond courteously and promptly to guest maintenance requests, resolving issues to guest satisfaction.

Requirements:

• Basic reading, writing, and math skills; laundry experience preferred.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Physical ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds regularly, stand and move about frequently, handle objects and equipment, and work in areas of high temperatures around heavy equipment.

Education & Experience:

• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Three to six months of related experience and/or training.
