Clariant in Quincy, Florida, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to serve as the primary technical expert for mechanical, electrical, and systems issues across the site. You will lead planned maintenance, troubleshoot equipment, mentor colleagues, and collaborate with engineering to improve reliability and efficiency.

You will manage shutdowns, fabricate parts, read blueprints, participate in RCA investigations, and use SAP to handle work orders and spare parts.

Qualifications

• 2.5–5 years of maintenance experience.
• 2.5–5 years of experience in welding, PLC programming, machining, or electrical work.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Basic computer skills.
• A certificate or degree in welding, PLC programming, machining, or electrical work is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance: plan and run annual and planned maintenance and major overhauls, shutdowns and capital projects.
• Be the technical expert: perform Level I/II maintenance tasks and train others.
• Repair and fabricate: weld, read blueprints, repair and maintain pneumatic systems and components.
• Drive improvement: support CI/Kaizen and lead RCA investigations; present recommendations to engineering and management.
• Manage spare parts in SAP: create/close work notifications and orders, identify reorder needs.
• Collaborate with engineering on capital projects and process improvements; mentor Level I technicians.
• Take ownership of additional projects and tasks as assigned.
