Job summary

Clariant Corporation in Quincy, Florida, seeks a Maintenance Technician to serve as the primary technical expert for mechanical, electrical, and systems-related issues across the site. You will lead planned maintenance, major shutdowns, troubleshoot equipment, and mentor colleagues to improve reliability and efficiency.

This onsite role requires hands-on skills and collaboration with engineering on capital projects.

Qualifications

2.5–5 years of maintenance experience.
2.5–5 years of welding, PLC programming, machining or electrical work.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

Lead maintenance: plan and run annual/major overhauls and shutdowns across all departments.
Be the technical expert: perform Level I/II maintenance tasks and train others.
Repair and fabricate: weld, read blueprints, maintain pneumatic systems and air lines.
Drive improvement: support CI/Kaizen and lead RCA investigations with engineering and management.
Manage spare parts in SAP: create/close work orders and identify reorders.
Collaborate with engineering on capital projects and guide Level I technicians.
Take ownership of additional projects and tasks as assigned.
