Job summary

McGill Environmental Systems is hiring a Lead Maintenance Technician in Delray Beach, FL. This hands-on leadership role focuses on diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel trucks and industrial equipment to ensure safe, reliable operations.

You will mentor technicians, prioritize repairs, and coordinate preventive maintenance while advancing line performance and equipment uptime. A 5+ year background in diesel/heavy equipment is preferred. Benefits included.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Experience repairing diesel trucks or heavy equipment favored.
• Ability to troubleshoot and complete repairs independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily leadership, direction, and technical support to maintenance technicians.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance schedules and repair priorities.
• Diagnose and repair diesel trucks, heavy equipment, forklifts, trailers, and production equipment.
• Troubleshoot diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, brakes, steering, suspension, and drivetrains.
• Train, mentor, and develop maintenance technicians.
• Maintain accurate work orders and maintenance records.
