Job summary

Mission Linen Supply is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to inspect, repair, and maintain industrial equipment such as washers, dryers, steam tunnels, conveyors, and boilers. The role includes preventive maintenance, welding, boiler tests, and safety compliance to keep plant operations running smoothly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Minimum of 2 years of maintenance engineering experience, with knowledge of machinery, electricity, electronics, plumbing, welding, and boiler applications.
• Experience with mechanical troubleshooting, hydraulics, pneumatics, and reading repair manuals and schematics.
• Mission will provide additional training in Steam Boiler, Electrical, Pneumatic, Schematics, Maintenance, Welding, and Plumbing for candidates who need it.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance on the property to keep plant machines running smoothly.
• Responsible for morning start-up and evening shutdown of equipment, including the boiler, air compressor, power, pumps, and valves.
• Maintain lint traps, shaker screen barrels, oil levels, grease fittings, and water levels.
• Complete general repairs on machinery and document maintenance activities.
• Follow manufacturer maintenance schedules and report major repairs as needed.
