Job summary

Pacific Seafood is seeking a Maintenance Technician III to join the Humboldt Production team. You will lead troubleshooting and repair efforts, implement preventive maintenance, and mentor junior technicians to ensure safe, efficient plant operations.

The role emphasizes collaboration with engineering and production teams, adherence to safety standards, and a focus on reliability improvements in a busy seafood-processing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• At least five years of relevant maintenance experience.
• Preferred: HVAC, electrical, mechanical certifications.
• CMMS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead troubleshooting and resolution of complex maintenance issues and demonstrate advanced technical expertise.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
• Mentor and train junior technicians on advanced repair techniques.
• Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to assess equipment performance and optimize for production.
• Coordinate with external vendors for specialized repairs and installations.
