Job summary

CJ Schwan’s is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the 2nd shift (3:00 PM - 11:00 PM) in a food manufacturing environment. Starting pay is $24.50/hour with a $1.50 shift differential for hours 6 PM–6 AM.

Responsibilities include preventive/corrective maintenance on conveyors, ovens, and packaging equipment to keep production running smoothly. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, 0–2 years of related experience, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Must read and interpret safety documents and maintenance instructions.
• Ability to complete work orders and enter paperwork into a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment to keep operations running smoothly.
• Follow food safety rules and use proper cleaning procedures around production areas.
• Handle emergency repairs to minimize downtime and keep lines running.
• Manage spare parts and tools inventory for timely maintenance and upgrades.
• Work safely and follow OSHA regulations and company policies.
