Qualifications

• 3+ years of maintenance experience including HVAC, plumbing, electrical and general repairs.
• HVAC certification or willingness to learn (CFC) is required.
• Ability to read policies and safety guidelines and follow procedures.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, major appliances, and other maintenance systems.
• Assist with creating and organizing work orders; complete repairs promptly.
• Ensure vacant apartments and garages are rent-ready with turnkey work.
• Train and mentor Maintenance Technicians I and II.
• Perform preventative maintenance and inspect grounds daily.
• Maintain safety culture and follow AVB safety policies.
