Job summary

Koozie Group in Spring Hill, FL is seeking a Lead Maintenance Tech to provide hands-on leadership for the Maintenance team at our Spring Hill facility. This full-time role supports manufacturing equipment safety, reliability, and on-time production while guiding a team of mechanics.

The Lead Mechanic works with Operations and Engineering to prioritize, troubleshoot, train, and implement improvements, promoting safety and continuous improvement across shifts and departments.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Floor/Shop Mechanic or similar manufacturing maintenance role.
• 2–3 years of experience providing technical leadership, training, coaching, or guidance to other mechanics.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily maintenance activities and coordinate priorities.
• Perform machine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting with the team.
• Provide technical guidance and training to mechanics.
• Ensure equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
• Develop and maintain preventive maintenance records.
