Job summary

Bachoco USA is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for our Fort Smith, AR facility. This role supervises maintenance employees per shift, looks for improvements to the department and equipment to boost production, and reports findings to the Maintenance Manager.

Qualifications

• One-year certificate or six to twelve months related experience.
• Ability to read safety rules and manuals; write routine reports; communicate effectively.
• Ability to perform basic math and interpret data.
• Experience supervising a maintenance team preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensures the Preventive Maintenance Program and Maintenance Work Orders are performed properly by crew.
• Keeps the safety of mechanics and equipment a priority.
• Coordinates with Refrigeration Operators and Supervisor as needed.
• Works with Maintenance Manager on projects to ensure completion safely.
• Coordinates with contractors to ensure work is completed properly and safely.
• Maintains training records and equipment logs; plans for parts and rebuilds.
