LR Management Services in Michigan is hiring a Maintenance Supervisor to work with the Property Manager to ensure safety, maintenance, and equipment needs across the community.

Candidates should have 3+ years in apartment maintenance, HVAC/EPA certification, Yardi experience, and strong budgeting and scheduling skills. The role includes leading a team, bidding on capital projects, and coordinating vendors.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years minimum experience as a Maintenance Supervisor (preferred) or Technician in a multi-family apartment setting or equivalent industry.
• HVAC and EPA Certification
• Experience with Yardi
• Experience in estimating maintenance and repair timelines and costs associated with projects
• Proven ability to set goals and create a plan to accomplish them
• Ability to work within a budget
• Knowledge of property management at the leasing and administrative levels.
• Intermediate computer skills, including the Microsoft Office suite.
• Proven time management skills in meeting deadlines and achieving goals
• Ability to lead a team and take direction from leadership

Responsibilities

• Working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliance repair, changing locks and cutting keys, make ready punch lists, carpentry, landscaping, and general curb appeal
• Ordering supplies for inventory
• Scheduling projects in vacant apartments ahead of time to get work completed in a timely manner
• Managing large capital projects including bidding, supervising contractors and sub-contractors, and reviewing completed work
• Communicating with vendors and staff to resolve any issues
