Job summary

Arcan Capital, a growing multi-family housing company in Georgia, seeks a Maintenance Supervisor to lead a hands-on team responsible for interior and exterior maintenance, groundskeeping, and preventative maintenance. The role requires strong technical expertise and a commitment to safety and resident service.

You will mentor staff, respond to resident requests, and coordinate with vendors and the Property Manager.

Qualifications

• Strong technical expertise in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical systems.
• Proven leadership and training skills to mentor and develop maintenance staff.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities, ensuring resident satisfaction.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare market-ready apartments with painting, carpet repairs, cleaning, and general maintenance.
• Oversee routine interior and exterior maintenance including snow/ice removal, gutter cleaning, HVAC servicing, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry repairs.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents and staff.
• Recruit, train, and supervise maintenance team members with guidance from the Property Manager.
• Implement and track preventative maintenance schedules; ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
• Manage vendor relationships for services like landscaping, painting, and asphalt work.
• Maintain resident privacy and deliver superior customer service at all times.
• Adhere to local, state, and federal housing laws, fair housing regulations, and OSHA standards.
