LR Management is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to ensure safety, maintenance, and equipment needs across Michigan properties, collaborating with the Property Manager to maintain community standards.

Qualifications

• Three years minimum experience as a Maintenance Supervisor or Technician in a multi-family apartment setting or equivalent industry.
• Experience in a high-rise setting preferred.
• HVAC and EPA Certification.
• Experience with Yardi.
• Experience in estimating maintenance and repair timelines and costs associated with projects.
• Ability to set goals and create a plan to accomplish them.
• Ability to understand and work within a budget.
• Knowledge of property management at the leasing and administrative levels.
• Intermediate computer skills, including the Microsoft Office suite.
• Proven time management skills in meeting deadlines and achieving goals.
• Ability to create a team-centered environment and lead that team effectively.
• The ability to take direction from leadership and follow through on the directive.
• Pool certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliance repair, and general upkeep.
• Order supplies for inventory and manage procurement.
• Schedule projects in vacant apartments to ensure timely completion.
• Manage large capital projects: bidding, supervising contractors, and reviewing work.
• Communicate with vendors and staff to resolve issues.
