Job summary

Optima, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for our luxury apartment community in Scottsdale. The role focuses on leading maintenance, coordinating service requests, unit turns, and preventative maintenance to ensure property excellence.

You will oversee a team, manage safety, and support budgeting while delivering superior resident service. The position requires a valid driver’s license and flexibility for weekends and evenings.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of maintenance experience onsite at a luxury residential property.
• Thorough knowledge of preparing for resident move-ins/outs and general repair skills.
• Physical ability to lift up to 100 lbs.
• Current and valid driver's license.
• General maintenance knowledge in plumbing, HVAC, electrical, drywall, and appliance repair.
• Flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance needs of the property and grounds, ensuring timely repairs and completed work orders.
• Identify potential problems and develop response plans with practical solutions.
• Lead preventative maintenance and monitor team to keep the property in top condition.
• Manage resident relations and ensure high customer satisfaction.
• Assist in planning and scheduling to meet shift requirements.
• Ensure reporting guidelines for work orders, quality, and timelines are followed.
• Evaluate repair needs and obtain bids when professional services are required.
• Supervise contractors and oversee building repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Manage shop, inventory, and supplies; maintain budgets and safety standards.
