Job summary

Georgia-Pacific is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for our Gypsum Plant in Savannah, Georgia. This role leads a maintenance team, driving safety, reliability, and efficiency in a PBM-guided manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate will be self-driven with a passion for safety, productivity, and customer focus. A strong background in supervisory duties, maintenance planning, and CMMS usage is expected to succeed.

Qualifications

Supervisory experience in manufacturing or military contexts.
Experience planning and scheduling maintenance in a manufacturing setting.
Working knowledge of computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
Proficiency with MS Office software.

Responsibilities

Lead gypsum maintenance team to operate safely in a continuous manufacturing environment.
Supervise maintenance activities to improve EHS, reliability, and efficiency.
Support production processes to optimize manufacturing value.
Facilitate team development and skill growth.
Promote safety and accountability to identify hazards and mitigate risks.
Monitor quality of craft work and direct crews for efficiency.
Assist with troubleshooting production issues.
Enter data and generate reports.
