Job summary

Viwinco, Inc. seeks an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance operations for our Glass Shop team.

The role provides hands-on technical leadership to maintenance technicians while coordinating preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities to minimize downtime and keep glass production running smoothly and safely. Qualifications

• Experience leading maintenance in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong leadership with safety focus and initiative.
• Hands-on technical expertise across mechanical, electrical, and controls.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and improve equipment reliability.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise maintenance technicians across assigned shifts.
• Plan, prioritize, and assign daily maintenance activities based on production needs.
• Provide technical support for mechanical, electrical, controls, and facility issues.
• Ensure preventive and predictive maintenance activities are completed on schedule.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and coordinate troubleshooting and repairs.
• Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for recurring failures.
• Monitor work orders, PM completion, and downtime via the CMMS.
• Coordinate with Production, Engineering, Safety, and other departments to resolve issues.
• Support equipment installation, startup, commissioning, and modifications.
• Ensure technicians follow safety procedures, including LOTO and guarding.
• Develop technician skills through training and coaching.
• Ensure accurate shift handoffs and communication of status.
• Maintain proper spare parts, tools, housekeeping, and maintenance standards.
