Job summary

Misfits Market, a mission‑driven e‑grocer delivering organic produce and other groceries, is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance team and partner with Operations, Engineering, Safety, and Quality. The role focuses on preventive and corrective maintenance, vendor management, and capital projects to support a fast‑growing facility network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field; experience considered.
• Minimum 3–5 years of maintenance leadership in industrial environments.
• Experience supervising maintenance personnel and managing contractors.
• Experience supporting facility expansions, construction, or capital improvement projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop the maintenance team to ensure safe, efficient, and timely completion of maintenance activities.
• Manage daily maintenance operations including preventive and corrective maintenance, emergency repairs, and equipment troubleshooting.
• Develop and maintain maintenance schedules, priorities, and timelines to ensure high-quality work on time.
• Establish and continuously improve preventive and predictive maintenance programs to increase reliability and reduce downtime.
• Monitor equipment performance, identify recurring failures, and implement root‑cause corrective actions.
• Coordinate and oversee contractors performing maintenance, construction, or capital projects.
• Support facility expansions and capital improvement projects with project schedules and budgets.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal codes and company standards.
